So, they’re a big deal to us. We cannot sustain this ministry without you. We can plan every Sunday morning—but without you, it’s meaningless. Whether it’s through dance, games, Bible studies, casual conversations, or anything in between, you have the opportunity to impact a child’s life for all of eternity! You can do this by showing up for these kids and sharing the love of Jesus, and that’s something truly special—something we could never accomplish without you and your investment in this ministry.

Where You Can Serve
QUALIFICATIONS:
You love the Lord, care about kids, and have completed and passed the application, background check, and shadow process.
Nursery & Toddlers: Sunday 8:00 AM / 9:30 AM / 11:00 AM
Commit to serving a minimum of one service a month. Arrive 20 minutes before service starts and stay until all children are picked up from the room. Greet families as they drop off their little ones. Play and interact with children, and rock/hold babies as needed.
Preschool: Sunday 8:00 AM / 9:30 AM / 11:00 AM
Commit to serving one month for one service per Sunday (followed by two months off, unless you request to serve more). Arrive 30 minutes before service starts and stay until all children are picked up from the room. Come prepared having read through the lessons, and lead children using the materials provided.
Elementary (K-5): Sunday 8:00 AM / 9:30 AM / 11:00 AM
Commit to serving one school year for one service per Sunday. Arrive 30 minutes before service starts and stay until all children are picked up from the room. Come prepared having read through the lessons, and lead children using the materials provided.
Check-in & Welcome Team: Sunday 8:00 AM / 9:30 AM / 11:00 AM
Commit to serving a minimum of one service a month. Arrive 30 minutes before service starts and stay at the check-in station until 15 minutes after service begins. Greet families as they enter the building, assist new families in registering their kids for the appropriate groups, and escort new families to their classrooms when needed.
Prayer and Prep Team: Thursdays 5:00 PM
Commit to helping with our prayer and prep night. Join us in praying over our kids' teams, church, and church families. You will also assist with classroom supply prep for Sundays, helping everything run smoothly for our teams and staff.

Please complete the online application. Our team will review your application and send you a secure email link to complete your background check. It’s not that we don’t trust you, but we like to go above and beyond when protecting our children and our church! :)
Training & Onboarding
We understand that part of being a good leader means feeling equipped to do so. For this reason, all of our new leaders go through a shadowing process for a couple of Sundays. We’ll also provide an onboarding scavenger hunt to help get you familiar with our programs, and we host 2 training sessions throughout the year.
Planning Center (Currently only for K–5)
Once you choose to be a leader, you will get an email from "Planning Center" to set up your profile. Planning Center is an essential part of leading at Grace Church since we do a significant amount of communication through it, and getting acquainted with it will help you flourish as a leader.
